Modulating Flow Control

For some time now, the team at IMS have been developing Modulating Flow Control for the Ground-Effect Spreading Bucket. In 2018 the Modulating Flow Control technology for the Ground-Effect Spreading Bucket range was released for application rates up to 30kg/ha.

Higher Application Rates

Recent breakthroughs mean the team are nearing completion of final trials for a much higher rate system, which will allow operators to utilise the variable flow control of dry media at application rates of up to 200kg/ha.

This exciting new feat has been achieved while maintaining an extremely effective and accurate swathe along with the smooth, safe flight characteristics the Ground-Effect Spreading Bucket is well known for.

AG-NAV GPS Software

This new system has also been developed in conjunction with global GPS manufacturing super power AG-NAV, who have tailored software specifically for application with the Ground-Effect Spreading Bucket and its Modulating Flow Control functionality.

This software incorporates the latest features in logging, accuracy and familiarity, which also make the low rate and high rate systems compatible with most existing AG-NAV GPS units (after a little configuration).

Staying Ahead of the Competition

As the helicopter and the agriculture industries develop and evolve, taking environmental and economic factors into account, the technology seen in this new line of Ground-Effect Spreading Bucket products, we believe, is unprecedented.

These latest developments will ensure the modern operator keeps ahead of the competition with the added advantage of decreased pilot workload, increased efficiencies and overall efficiency and effectiveness while providing an accurate and measurable result on each and every application job.
